Soon I will restrict the shard to only allow clients 6.x to play. I have setup the value on the test shard, but I did not get into the dirty packet stuff yet, so this is not fool proof.
Before I impliment this, I just wanted to 1: warn everyone, and 2: have everyone try to connect to the test shard to make sure this wont cause issues. Test shard is icetekshq.ath.cx 1337. If you can't connect to it because of client version post here, with client version.
