New Custom Skin Deployed!

After hard work, the new skin is now completed and set as default. I did cut a few corners but nothing too serious. Just the mod CP, PM section and user CP.
I hope everyone enjoys it! If you are still using the corona one, you can switch to the new skin in the user CP.
I strongly recomend that you do use the new skin since the mods I will install will only be applied for the new skin. I will however keep the old one around for a while.
If you notice anything other then the corners I cut, that is not skinned, let me know. I'm positive I got around everything, but I might of missed something. Simple things such as errors even have to be individually skinned. For example, a search saying "no results" is a seperate templated then results.
Anyway, I hope everyone likes it! I sure do! I think it turned out great!
Not too bad for my first skin if I say so myself.

Forgot to mention, I still need to do the buttons, so I'm not 100% done.

Is that why the board was offline?

Yep.
I had to skin the "offline" template and it helps when I can see it and hit refresh each time I change something.
I also did the registeration form while it was offline.
When you are in the "Ice Aged" group you can view the offline board, same for the moderator group... (I think, I'll have to check that one...
)

Everybody empty your cache, all the buttons are done now.
At least I think...
I did not bother with the envelope ones though, they look good on this skin.

I can't get the emoticons to work when I click "Show All".
Yes, the envelopes show up better now.

Yeah, I'm working on that. I have no clue why it started doing that. I never touched that section... that just reminded me that I posted at invision support yesterday. I'll have to go trough a few forum pages and find that post.
Those are the most active forums I've ever seen! I could use that type of activity here.
Maybe not yet, I'd most likely need a dedicated server. When you hear the word dedicated, it also involves a dedicated wallet.

Have you had any luck with your business? I thought you were going to work on pcs at home.

Actually, I have not really advertised yet. But I'm ready to go.
I got my site up (
http://services.iceteks.com) and I'll soon be sending out a business card template to a company that makes them and I will have 250 of them for $100. I can pass them around to people I know and stuff. From there it should start rolling I hope.
I also got my vendor's permit yesterday, so I can legaly sell anything I want. That's what I want to do later on, sell computer parts. If I do it online, it can get pretty big. Try finding an online store in Canada that does that! They are all in the US and you have to pay double if you're from Canada.
But that's later on though, it will get more complicated. Warrenties, shipping...

Yeah, I have an internet buddy in Canada and he has a hard time finding things and there's not much in small towns to choose from. You might want to offer a printable order blank. Some people don't like to use credit cards on the internet and would rather send a money order.

I want to avoid handling credit card numbers period so I will most likely be money order based if I do open a shop. Even downtown there's nothing for computers, so just locally I'd do great as well.
If I want to build myself a computer, this vendor's permit will come in handy since I'll be able to get the parts wholesale for very cheap.
If I decide to sell whole computers I'll make sure to setup a cluster of UD crunchers when they are waiting to be sold.
I'll usually install UD on computers I sell as well, and register an account for customers and just explain to them what it does. We have many well known people who died of cancer here so this will work out well for sure!

Hey, that sounds like a good idea on the UD project. Sounds like you are on the right track for getting your business going. In a small town, word gets around fast too.

Yep. My mom thinks I won't succeed but I'm sure I will. It just takes time.
