I'll start posting stats regularly just to keep everyone updated and also as an effort to encourage more of you to join. I'm alone here!!! Click the "volunteer your pc" button and it has all the info to join. You should be up and running in less then 5 minutes.

Here's the stats for today. Just imagine how much better it will be if you join! We can easly do 10 times this if everyone joins. It's for a good cause!

Red, I ran the software but can't get past the reg. process. I filled out the form and hit login but it sends me back to the reg. form.

Did you make sure "I am already registered" is not checked? You need to sign up for an account first, and you can through that box.

The same for when you join team IceTeks, you will be asked to sign in, and you can do so with the same information you put in the register dialog.

Yes, to the first question. That box won't let me log or register. The software is running, I left and came back and the screen-saver was running. Can't get into, join Ice Teks either.

Hmm, weird. Well if the software is running, it must mean that you registered. Does it keep coming up everytime it finishes a unit? It probably did not finish one yet unless you have a super fast computer though.

So if you click to go to our team and click the "join this team" button and then enter your login info, it does not work? Sometimes you need to do it twice though, you will get a screen saying that it was done successfully.

Well, I guess it's not running, not showing up in task manager. After I loaded the software, Zone Alarm ask permission, I said yes. It was showing the hour glass but was hung there. Had to shutdown the UD process and reboot. I don't know what is going on! Everything I start to do turns into a big headache.

I'm sure you should get it going. It probably timed out because of Zone Alarm, once you get the permissions set it will work. From there you should be able to log in to your account on the IceTeks team link by clicking "join this team".

I just updated ZA and gave UD permission. Got a pop-up thanking me with the same reg. form, but it still won't let me log!

Where won't it let you, like in the form on the internet? I'll check their forums and see if there's any issues with that. It should work though, I registered a new account to join IceTeks as I did not want to leave the other team I joined right after it went down and have two accounts and never had problems.

You did try logging in more then once eh? Sometimes it won't log you in correctly the first time.

Yep, I always try more than once. The internet was where I started the d'load and then it wants you to register but all I got was the log screen. Thought I would get some kind of confirmation email but I guess not if I ain't legal!

Oh, the forum is seperate from UD registration, but that's good that you registered there, you can post in the recruiting section to get others to join us.

Also, even once you join our team, it will only show after 12 hours, or whatever time they update it (it's every 12 hours). So if it says that you successfully joined, then you did. Your points WILL count towards the team.

Hi Jim, yes, XP Home OS. Nothing on desktop, Ive uninstalled, reinstalled and it gives me the login window, tried to log, it says my info. does not match what they have, or something to that effect. I don't know how they could have anything different than what I put in the first time.

I just thought of something, when the registration box came up, could you see all of it? Sometimes it's hidden under the task bar. It requires 800*600 to view it fully and even then it takes up most of the height of the screen. If you are running a lower res you'll have to raise it for that part.

Yeah, 800x600 and I did notice that long screen, moved it up as far as it would go to see if I was missing something. Still not sure I saw the very bottom though! I thought there should have been something there other than login. But the "already a member" was not checked, didn't quite see how I could log and reg. at the same time.
