Let's be known for having a HUGE selection of smilies! Let's post smilies here and I'll add them in the database as we go!!! There's so many of them on the net, but if we all contribute I bet we can get so much it will be incredible. Right now it does not look pretty on this FAT32 drive though but who cares. If you know the concept behind clusters, umm yep, lots of wasted cluster space. Lol, we have about 300K of smillies but yet we're using about 4MB!!! Let's see how fast we can hit 10MB of smilies on this fat32 drive.
On the server the clusters are smaller though, but locally it's a huge partition that's why. I always keep a backup of the forum files here, and a backup of the database on the server... it's good to have backups here and there.
Here are the latest additions for tonight.
(I love it how they are placed in addition order by default, goes well to look for new ones)
The first 3 were there already but just in case no one noticed them, and the 2 after those as well, and I made them.
Let's see what you guys can come up with, wether you want to go nuts and make some, or find some on the net (make sure we don't have it already before posting
)
Have fun!

Sounds good. That eye pic brings back memories. When I took a basic html course about 2-3 years ago we had an animated version of it closing. It would be a great avatar to add in the gallery.
Been adding a lot of avatars too. lol I was looking at this oldschool cgi script forum to see if there's anything good in the gallery and there was like maybe 10 jpg ones that could be high quality under gif (some even looked the same with 16 colors!) - so I converted them to add transparancy.
Hopefully they are not copyright.

By the way I merged this with the smiley thread since it's close enough.

I got 70 of em coming soon.... they are uploaded and all... I just need to indivitually add them with a code so they show up.
Once we get to about 300 I'll concentrate on avatars.
I think 300 must be a record - never seen a forum with more then 200-300.
Problem is, every site I go at we already have them all lol. And yesterday I did a transfer and I overwrote a few - oops. I think it's time I get creative and make more.
Do you guys like ones that blow up and stuff? I seem to be more into making violent ones for some reason.
+
= super banana!!! *opens up photoshop*
oops, there's a slight smiley-database problem. My fault this time.
edit: had my numbers wrong. No wonder I have a 42 average in math.

191 smilies and counting!!! At least, 191 smilley files, I could have missed a few when adding them in, but I'll keep checking. It seems that there's only 181 in there, 10 are missing somewhere. Oh the mystery.
Also, if you see duplicates let me know, sometimes I'll add a smilley twice under a different code, I don't think I did, at least, I checked pretty well, but just in case I missed on.
Once I get to 200 or so, I'll work on avatars.
A new thread for those.
Anyway, here's the latest smillies... hopefully I set a decent limit to let me post them all.

And this one will come in handy
Wow, if I can pull this off once a week I'll soon crash the server.
Every single one makes a difference, so even if you just have 1 to post, go right ahead. This is not a competition between who can find the most - realize that I spent a few hours getting all these. Not sure where I find spare time like that with exams and stuff..... I think I just make it!!!

2 more added. I decided to use a different system, I'll name them emX where X is a number, from now on I won't have to worry about overwritting the same names, it's happened a few times.
For when you see a nice motherboard
When fixing a motherboard, went bad.

When you'd think we have enough, I'm still adding more!
Here's a daily emoticon update
Those numbers might get useful for stuff, they are kind of like the signs you see judges use in olympics, well they don't really, but we've all seen it in cartoons and stuff.
I made some from 0-10 for many possibilities.
I'll be adding the alphabeth too....
26 more smilies later lol...
By the way, if you have any requests from signs like this let me know, I kept the pdd so I can easly change the word, has to be a small word though.
Also, if there's specific smilies you want to see in the clickable smilies box beside the text box (instead of clicking "show all") let me know.
I hope you all enjoy these smilies as much as I do.
We now have

Thanks, glad you enjoy them! There's more where these came from.
For now this will do for a while, since the smiley box takes too long to load now. Maybe once I get around defragmenting the server. Still did not get around to do it yet. I might do it tonight, I'll do the 0poster clean up, and defrag after.
