any one else notice the colors of the images on your xp computer do not look right?

as to my problem it is on the bmp images. most look alright but there are a few that i did on win98 that look bad? how ever they look great on the win98 computer? not all that i did on win98 look bad on xp only a few?

the color black is showing up as gray and not black? the images that had be addjusted by the smuge tool in the image editor do not show up smuged on win98 but on winxp the smuge is showing up?

does anyone have any idea as to why this is happing???

I have Xp and haven't noticed this.
Just a thought
Change Background to none
Call up one of the BMP's and Right click it
and set as background maybe that will fix it.
If you made these Bmp's from a jpg in Win98
do you still have the jpg, if so try setting that as background in XP that will change it to a Bmp
