Shard appearing offline

Hey !
I've just added my shard to the list. It worked pretty well
The only problem I encounter is that it always appears as offline. However, the shard is up and I see your bot connecting to it in the console.
Do I have to modify something in RunUO 2.2 to make it work ?
Actually, I have latest RunUO SVN (which might be the problem ...).
Anyway, I'm in the list, which is already great. Thank you for your service

It seems the problem comes from the fact I use Mono on Linux ...
I saw a similar post on the other forum, but I don't really know how it got fixed
This is kinda embarrasing ... :/

Ok I've fixed it ! ;D
I had to follow that guide :
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/connector-net-installation-unix.html
while paying attention that it is case sensitive. So I had to rename the mysql.data.dll to MySql.Data.dll
I hope this might help some in the future

Interesting that would make a difference, given it's just responding to a packet. But it is .net. I learned not to question it, Microsoft is just weird sometimes.
Glad it worked out.

Or maybe it was just a coincidence ... It seems my shard appears offline and online half of the time.
Could you check the logs ? My shard is Diamont.
Thx

Around what time? I know our host has been having some packet loss issues on and off, wondering if it's related as if the poller times out it will mark the shard offline. Going to see if the time matches with some of my agent down alarms.

What's your shard's IP and where is it located physically? Wondering if it's a latency issue. I may have to increase the timeout.
I need to get the new poller up and running and update the current one. The current one is single threaded and the issue is it cannot do all the shards fast enough before it's time to poll again. Though it still should not be marking shards as offline when they're not so this is definitely odd.

My shard's IP is 176.9.127.103.
It is situated in Germany (Although I am from Belgium ^^).
Maybe there is a modification I can do to make it work, but personnally I don't know which one ... :S
Thx for looking into this. Your help is greatly appreciated

Next time it happens, take note of the time shown on the bottom of the page on this site, and post it here. Will help me pin point in the logs. The logs are so huge I realized doing it manually may take too long.
My suspicion is there may be a slow down somewhere that causes the poller to time out, but we'll see.

Hello,
Just to let people know I have found how to fix it
If you use Mono, you have to change the NetState.cs in RunUO (according to SunUO modifications).
That's it
