UL approval, what's that?

Bought these grow lights off Amazon. Questionable safety. Yikes!
Exposed electrical terminals (that's about 100 volts DC)
Crappy capacitive PSU... No SMPS, that would cost too much! I soldered those two blue wires that you see on the light, it just made it easier to measure stuff.
Those filter caps arn't doing much, either...
I only paid like 30 bucks for 4 of them, so guess you get what you pay for.
I might end up using them anyway for a small project/experiment, but I definitely will have to find a better source for higher end, and safer ones.
Interesting the cheap stuff you can find on Amazon though. Always fun to take stuff apart to see how badly the skimped on quality.
