i killed one today and it recoloured my bow. Does this wear off or do i need to blow a ticket charge to put it back

Ya, it recolors your item permanently. Back when the event was happening it was a special quirk with the acid slimes.

They're a permanent addition and have undergone some changes (no longer requiring a quest to get pigments as an example).

I'll catch you in game to change your item color back and I'll disable the weapon coloring attack on the acid slimes for the next update.

As an alternative to futzing around with pigment tickets, i'd be perfectly content farming these guys for HOURS.
