Crafting

Hi all, in my time playing osi shards i was spoilt by the fact that gold was easy to come by and vendors were plenty.
I never explored the crafting side of things.
On this server you have to sort things out yourself and not rely on recalling to a vendor and buying what you need.

I am realy struggling in understanding the best way to use runics and resources, for the best results.
So, hopefully some of you crafty experts can help me out here, i will list a few questions that basicaly apply to all the runics.....
Most of stratics threads always use the imbueing skill, which because we dont have that here kind of makes them difficult to understand or replicate....

Example:
If i wanted to make some bloodwood armour pieces, do i use the bloodwood/heartwood runic to craft them with the top woods or do i use a normal saw and then enhance with top end wood?
Most stratics say normal saw, imbue, then enhance......

Smithy runics:
What use are the runics below Gold?
Do you just burn them on valorite ore and see what comes out?

What runic would i use and what ore would i use to try and make a decent double axe with at the very least 25 SSI/ 30 mana leach and a high "hit area affect"?

Spined runics are just for enahncing the luck of a looted item?
or will they make high luck stuff if used on their own?

Basicaly i want some good armour for my sampire (i read somewhere that bloodwood armour is best for this?)
And a collection of axes, slayer properties would be nice combined with my minimum specs above.....

Tailors:
Which leathers do you use for the best results with each runic?
same applys to smithys and fletchers/carpenters...

I could go on test and try it out for myself, but i always find that players already gifted in this area know the little tricks of the trade.....
Cheers.....
