Hi folks

New player, returning to the game after several years. I haven't played UO in so long that I cant remember the name of the expansion I had when I quit. It came with a statue of lord Blackthorne.

So Ive been running around for a few days and I wanted to say Hi and maybe ask a few questions.

I haven't seen a player house since I started, is that a function of low server population or are player houses not supported?

Maybe I'm in the wrong neighborhood, but I haven't seen another player in a week! Any other new players out there looking to get started?

I really enjoy the server. This is my first experience with a player run shard.

I've started out with a Warrior character. Probably go PvM, if there are any tips for a template I'd love to hear them.

Welcome to the shard!

There are lot of houses but they are mostly in Luna, and scattered about in other places, so it's possible to walk a large area without finding any.

The population is rather low, but hoping it goes up more as we've been doing more updates.

Hiya mate, i'm newish here too and returning after a few years away...
My best advise is to make use of the skill deed in your bank.....
Make a char up with GM tailor , bowyer, carpenter, smith etc......and start doing the quests from the tailors and weavers, carpenters etc, this will give you some quick gold...
You will need to start gathering resources and going to fel will give double the resources that tram does....
Look in the chests in luna bank and you will find rune books, spell books etc, all free and made by some of the good people here......
Read up on templates...necro/mage....bard/mage etc...both good money makers....
Read up on chivalry and bushido for your warrior char
Use the skill deeds wisely and save some points on them if you can for when you get some 120 skill power scrolls....

When you go to a Gate look for "rune library", look through the rune books and it will give you places to hunt etc.....you can recal off the books with no problems....
I will look out for you and give you a bunch of leathers to get your tailor quests up and running.....

Thanks for the tips!

Had a rough time finding it, but I finally made it to Luna.

The bank was great, picked up a rune book and a few other things.

Found the chivalry trainer.

Luna was a place I never managed to visit back in my first run thru the game, very nice city.

Found player houses and even saw a few player characters.

All in all a great trip. Thanks.
