Your version of UO should be 7.0.18.0 Patch 95
Your version of Razor should be V1.0.13
These are the most recent versions of both.
If you are using windows vista or windows 7, ensure you are running your applications as an administrator as they often update and make changes.
When you connect with Razor, make sure it looks like this:
There have been a few players who are having difficulties connecting for some reason but it's likely not due to the versions of razor and UO as other people are able to get in.
Anyways try that out and see if you can connect to the live Age of Valor server. If not, we will be posting detailed connection steps just in case a setting wasn't entered in that would prevent you from connecting.

well my uo version is 7.0.10.3
thats why i cant connect. sad, i really wanted to test this shard.
but i guess you can imagine that im not gonna change client version to find a ghost town. putting empty uo shards online is a new trend. every 3rd Uo veteran does it. im testing alot of shards, but ONLY because i can just switch the ip on razor. yepp, most or lets say almost all Uo freeshards are running on the same version. if you are gonna change the client version i'll give your shard a try.
there is no way im gonna change the client version just for ONE SINGLE shard. ok if you can tell me there are +700ppl online average i'll maybe give it a shot, but still then..i dont wanna change the version.
so how much ppl play on this shard ? whats the number you see when you log in ?
Greetings
Zailm

The razor and UO versions are the most up to date so if we have updated to a patch that is higher, there is no reason to downgrade to something lower.
If the client you are running won't work because it's outdated, then there's not much you can do about it aside from updating your client or having another copy of UO with the updated client.
You can switch the UO version in razor just as easily as you can switch the IP. Just point it to the UO directory with the most up to date client and keep another copy of UO with the older client.
The population here is small. We are rebuilding our player base so it will take time to grow. If you wish to stick around and see how things go, we welcome you to the shard. If not, you can take a look on UO listing sites such as UOGateway for a shard with a higher player base and features that match what you are looking for.

It would be a good idea to have more than one client version for shards you enjoy playing. It's very difficult to find shards that are running the same version so you may be limiting your selection by keeping only one client.
We are rebuilding the shard due to some revamping. A few years ago, we decided to clean up some systems and do some shard renovations to improve the shard. A large project was put in place to remove world saves and create a save system that would exist without interrupting game play at certain times.
The project took longer than we anticipated and resulted in less updates and resources going into the live server. Because of less updates, we lost some players. Now that the new server core is launched, we are rebuilding and catching up on updates.

You are wrong. All the popular free UO shards support the latest UO client, which is 7.0.18.0. I just checked like 8 of them in a row. If you upgrade your client to the latest patch, you should be able to play everywhere. If Hybrid does not allow playing with 7.0.18.0, it is the only one and they are the problem.

Most shards try to support the latest version to try to make it easier for players to connect as they can just patch. It could be that Hybrid did not get a chance to code in the packet changes yet, but I'm sure they will update soon.
