Mad turkeys are from the thanksgiving event. Basically there's a "master" parent turkey linked to the spawners that can summon more "minor" turkeys that do not have the summoning ability. When the event spawner was removed, so were the "master" turkeys but seeing as thr minor turkey spawns arent linked to a spawner, they remained.

Instead of doing a global removal of the turkey spawn, we decided to leave them in to give players an extra opportunity to kill the remaining stragglers. This one must have been roaming for quite awhile .
