A reminder about community

It is important for all players to know that they are part of a community on the shard and on the forums. Age of Valor is not just a game you log on and off from and that's it. You are interacting with real people who have real lives and personalities. These people work hard in their lives and come to the shard to enjoy the game.
That being said, think about how you interact with each other. Poor attitude, language and discrimination is not tolerable and will never be tolerable on AOV forums and in the game. When you resort to such behavior, you are attacking a real person, not just an avatar in game. You can also ruin their gaming experience and create a poor impression of the shard and its community.
We understand that there are times when you become frustrated or upset with somebody else in game. It happens, take this time to cool off. Do not resort to personal attacking as this can quickly lead to harassment and behavior that we do not tolerate. Treat your fellow player and staff with the same respect you would like to be treated with.
We are very serious about handling issues such as these. Just because you do not see staff in game or on the forum, this does not give you an excuse to personally attack people. You may think you are getting away with your behavior, but staff can log on at any time and witness it or they may have already set up a profile on your poor behavior. Several players have been given temporary and permanent bans from the forums and from the game server for exhibiting this kind of hostile behavior. It is unnecessary and not appreciated by the shard community, potential players and the staff and developers of AOV.
As a member of the UO community, it is your right to play on a shard free from racism and discrimination and attacks of a personal nature. Although it is not always possible for us to monitor this kind of behavior, players are free to report problems they are having with another player through a private message to either myself (Death) or the shard owner (Red Squirrel). We will take action against such behavior as appropriate.
Thank you for your consideration and understanding
