A large update has been applied to TC1. Please feel free to log on and test.
You will need patch 7.0.13.0. ENSURE TO BACKUP THE OLD ONE!
I will leave this on TC1 for about a month as there is still work to do, and overall lot of testing. If all goes well, you can expect this on live in the near future.
Update info:
* Converted save system from time interval based serialized file to real time serialized SQL rows. This system is slighly more cpu intensive due to the fact that it is real time (continuously saving in the background) but creates a non stop gaming experience. There are no anoying world saves. Changes are saved on the fly in a queue system. Note that in the event of a crash or bad server shutdown there is still the possibility of a revert, but it should be small.
* Added 7th character slot
* Added support for patch 7.0.13.0
* Added Ter Mur Map and support for the new tiles. This is not yet player accessible
* Added basic support for Gargoyle race. It is currently disabled and will default to elf if chosen
* Added support for SA housing tiles except for doors
* Quest button on paperdoll now works, however actual quest NPCs are not yet ready
* Lot of misc minor fixes, too many to list.
If all this stuff pans well, we will most likely release to live. Content wise it's not really much, but it is a foundation for us to continue development. There has been tons of back end system changes and other stuff that will make things smoother going forward. Still a lot more work to do though.
And again, backup your client, before patching, if you want to log on.
