There will be some updates performed on the host server to update the operating system. This should take a few hours and have no impact other then potential network latency while the updates are being downloaded.

If all goes well, there may also be some internal network routing changes done between the host and the VM hosting the shard. This has potential for network blips. These changes are to prepare for the release of the new storage engine. No date has been set yet for this as it still needs to go through intensive beta testing once it is functional.

Not much, been quiet, but meanwhile, I've been busy getting the shard ready for an update. So far all is going fairly well with the storage engine but still work left before it's fully operational.

The maintenance window is now completed.

Also fixed the internal routing issue I believe. I added the shard to UOGateway as a test. It should now poll properly. Will leave it overnight.
