So. I've read all the info on the client version I have not being compatible with this shard, and obviously the fix would be to uninstall and reinstall to sort of "back date" my client.

I have a couple of friends that, for some reason, decided UO Pandora is the best shard ever. I can't say I agree, but they're not likely to let me go quietly either. Is there a way to back up my patch file and use it only when I have to go play Pandora? I've deleted the patch file in the patch folder and put it on a flash drive, the client still wants to pick up where it left off in the last patch session and it still crashes.

The easiest route is do a copy of the entire UO folder. You can then pick which instance to run from within razor. I do this as our live shard is a different patch level then dev, so I toggle back and forth versions easily this way.

I'm missing something.

Cleared the patch folder again, copied the entire UO folder and it LOOKS like I changed the client location in razor just fine. Still crashes, same error.

I gave up and installed to a new partition. Problem solved.
