The random number generator hates you, it's all luck of the draw. Sometimes it takes 1 kill, other times it takes 200.

Because yes, I've done that.
I swear that was 100 or more kills with everything, DFs, small bosses giving 10% per kill.
Which STILL leads me to advocate against capping the % at 10%, cuz clearly that can still suck balls.

I swear UO players need to take some philosophy classes. Just because you have flipped that coin 10 times in the past and landed heads every time, at this point in time the chance that you will land tails on the 11th flip is still 50%. In terms of randomness, what has happened in the past has no bearing on the present and future. Now if you are PLANNING 10 flips into the future, the chance is much better that you will get tails.

It was adequately constructive, in that you seemed to be confusing unlikely with impossible. But he's confusing philosophy with statistics, so what're ya gonna do?

i think the percent should be lower i mean come on you can solo this EASILY i mean everything is relatively easy why make this easier.

The original idea of Demitel bosses was to require a large group of people to work together to take them down, which merited the high percentage chance to obtain an artifact. Demitel bosses DO require a large amount of people but can be soloed as well. This isn't a bad thing, considering the shard is of a smaller population.

Ideally, Demitel bosses should provide a reward based on individual effort and not chance. It should also retain its community involvement where everyone is free to help take down the boss and help in any way possible.
