i thought you could only have 100 DI from items (jewerly weapon etc)
300 di total in pvm and i think that includes the 100 from items then slayer and skill bonus

It is a known bug that di does not work properly on the server. It is very fishy.

This would be why, DI is capped. Special abilities like EO1 and such all count towards the cap as well It's actually possible to hit the 300 cap easily.
This is something that can be revised in the future maybe if we find more info from OSI. Before we tweaked DI it was rediculous. people were doing like 200 damage+ on bosses forcing us to make them too hard.

DI from items only goes up to 100%. The extra damage can only be achieved through skills such as tactics and anatomy as well as other damage modifiers such as spells or slayers.
The hard cap for damage is 300%, which is a combination of DI, skills, spells, slayers. If you don't see a difference in damage, then you have reached your damage cap (Very easy to accomplish with double slayers).
[aosprops do not happen in real time. If you are equipping/de-equipping items then it won't change if the window is up. Try changing all your equipment and when you're satisfied, then run an [aosprops to see if there's a difference. If you are comparing to properties on your weapon and adding them up manually, check to make sure you're not making a calculation error on your end.

No, it means that out of that 117 di from weapons and jewelry, it's only 100 that counts. Anything higher will have 0 effect. So that extra 17% DI will do nothing.
In order to get your damage higher, you would require tactics and anatomy. Slayers as well as honoring your opponent if you have bushido will also take you up in terms of damage to an absolute maximum of 300% damage.
So in short, the "Damage Increase" property on weapons, armor, shields, jewelry is capped at 100. Tactics and anatomy, damage modifying spells, slayers and honor's stance are capped at 300.

That's right, anything higher than 100% DI is not going to benefit you.
