Spellcrafting

I am sure people know of this one but this system is so much fun. This one is for crafting and allows you to add things to armor and jewels such as lrc and the like. What you have to do is kill the monsters that provide the skill stones and then drop them in a spellcrafting book. When you try to enhance there is a chance of an explosion which usually comes close to killing off half your chars hp and the item explodes, or you take some damage or it is successful. You also need to collect spellcrafting gems which allow you to use the book (ie you might have the skill but need the charging gems). What is cool is you can enhance stuff with some success but it is risky. I rather enjoyed it with my tailor.

Anyways it is just an idea I would like to see implemented here.

I've thought of something like this, but it would work a bit differently. Would be a special resource that you double click and target an unenhanced item and it would amplify the properties on it, with chance of failure. It would be sort of like enhancing, but instead it would amplify properties, so a 4 lrc could maybe go as high as 20, or something.

I honestly love that system, its pretty awesome really. The intensity of the mods are dependant on alchemy and inscription. So unless if you have 180 of both, the mods arent all "uber fucking super hax". I voted yes.

It isn't ML but I have seen it on a few custom shards. What I like about it is that it is not uber and kind of balances monster hunting vs. crafting making it a little more even. I wish I knew more about it really cause it is such a fun crafting option. Unluckily the shards I was on that had it went down cause it was just a friend of a friend kinnda shard. I will do some more research and let you know.

Hmm well if you hapen to know who ran the shard if they're willing to share the scripts I could add it in. This would be rather big to code so it's the only reason I would not add it in, or totally change to concept to something easier to code. But if its premade then bingo I could add it.
