I would like this personally, but I know for a fact a lot of the player base that would play after the revamp would like like this. Therefor, I have to vote no. I don't want to see anyone get screwed over by such a major ruleset change.

Personally, I don't think it would work. Although I'm a fan of the pvp, there are just too many people who wish to pvm in peace, without having to worry about pkers. Many new players are also not experienced or equipped enough to handle pvp right away. Taking away that portion is something that would alienate the players who are purely around for pvm.
That being said, there could most certainly be more pvp spots and more pvp options. Many events are gold as they bring players out into a competitive pvp environment without fear of loss (insurance, goods). I believe that this also encourages future pvp outside events for those who are interested, but have never tried pvp before.
Although the rulesets of Sosaria will likely be staying as per OSI, we do hope to give more incentive to PVP as well as more options for player vs player combat. No major plans as of yet, but there are ideas floating around.

Reasons for this poll:
1. Players whether pvp or pvm should all take the risk in losing something
2. without risk there is no fun you get everything live peacfully and get bored
3. There should be a reason to go to fel? where is it?
4. Minor Aoa's are not worth the fel risk very few are worth using.
5. You can get all the good Aoa's on the roullette another reason why fel sucks.
6. What are pk's to do if no one plays fel why should they suffer.
7. OSI has even had a considerable player loss when trammel was introduced.
8. You can insure all your items for around 6k and thats if u have a lot of stuff insured wheres your big loss?
9. Of course uo is not real life but if i wanted to walk into a bar and punch someone in the face i could wheres the realistic factor in trammel, malas, illish?
10. This list could go for days.

Hate double posting but with that said we dont have to change all the facets to pvp hell leave illishenar and malas as tram that gives u paragon arties gauntlet doom ect ect and even illish champs. Make tram and fel fel rules why have two of the same facet fel? because that gives u more places to hide pk would have to decide wether there in tram destard or fel destard ect.

Personally I would like some element of being pkable almost everywhere but being red would come with lot of consequences to offset the frequency of being pked. Ex: people would not pk just because they can, they'd do it if say, they see someone with uninsured stuff, etc and take the risk. They'd still be stuck to fel only once red.
Though, it will most likely never happen here, as I want to make this a pvm/pvp shard and not just pvp. With that, I want to have more pvp events. pvp tends to be more fun for people when there is no loss of items, so you can get back in the pvp faster (no need to get new regs, arrows, bandages, potions after every death etc)
Though, I would like to maybe bring back the order/chaos guild system later on. Not sure though but something that could bring voluntary pvp to non fel facets.

Events can be taken a lot further in terms of pvp. One idea was to introduce a roster and trophies to the game. The top pvpers and those who are the best at certain events would get their names posted on the roster which could be seen in game and possibly also on the forums. Others will be able to see who's the top pvper and will rise up to the challenge to beat them.
There are several ideas floating about to increase pvp, but it's always a challenge to bring ideas to the table that are both worthwhile, and non-detrimental to the mass majority. A dueling system, for example, would be an interesting idea. Two people would form a blood pact with each other and for the duration of the duel, they are the only ones who could damage each other. High steaks could be decided upon via a trade window. The duels would be timed and rules could be decided.
Adding felucca specific quests is also an idea, as you can force players into certain areas that would normally not be played in.
Of course, if players have ideas for more PVP incentive, we'd love to hear them.

Leader board, duel system like hybrid, and a way to make wagers on duels and against one another would make me $^%& in my pants.
