It is a blast, I have gone every year since I was 12. Some years I went 3 or 4 times. It is a renaissance festival.

They are cute aren't they.... you want to buy them???? :D

Usually I hate kids but the cute ones are exceptions to that rule.

Looks like a good afternoon. I love the spring/summer cause all the festivals start popping up. Can't wait for the rib fest.

Ohh ya the rib fest. Wonder if they'll volluntell me this year to serve at the concession stand. Always funny to do the night shift and see all the drunk people ordering 20 hot dogs. Last year this guy walked up and dumped his beer right on our table. He was in line at least 2 hours just to get that beer. LOL fun times.

Well down here we have a rib fest in Burlington last week of august. A bunch of prize winning places and different rib cookers unite and make some wicked racks of ribs and sell them. Quite a drool fest. Like 25+ different rib vendors with their own special sauces and other goodies like onion blooms and corn on the cob drenched in a vat of butter. Great place to go if you're hungry.

Winona peach festival is also quite awesome. Went there first time last year and loved it. A lot of different vendors and tangy peaches so fresh it makes my mouth water just thinking about them.

We have one here in Timmins too but not as big. Usually maybe 3 ribbers. Usually it's the Canada day event, it makes up for the 5 minute budget fire work show. :p

Wow sounds scrum dily umcious! I have been to a rattle snake cook off, chili cook off, and a perogie festival. The perogie festival was in Indiana and there were so many different kinds of them.

Yeah its about that time of year, been to a few Rens already, have a few more gigs lined up so far this summer and people keep calling me back for more xD. For those that don't know I do combat demonstrations on Claymore, Flamberges, and Hand and a half sowrd styles as they were commonly practiced and trained throuhout Medieval europe.

Headed up to Bristol afore long for those who know what that is :)
