has anyone ever gotten this? It's very messed up. I've get it once in a while, it it's totally weird. It's like being totally zoned out and between the dream world and the real world.
Last night it happened to me, and it was probably the most intense one so far. Normally I just get the feeling of not being able to move, and this intense feeling something is going to happen, and I have to try to snap out of it by moving fast, but yet I can't but as I keep trying I do succeed.
This time there was actually someone in my room that was hugging me and whispering in my ear, I can't really recall any of the words, but the last words before the person left was "you're going to die tomorrow". This "person" was in no way threatning, it was more like the person was saying bye. I tried to snap out and the person laughed a bit, then I tried again, and in a flash, the person was gone, and I was just laying on the bed in the same position and everything.
The messed up part is while this sounds really creepy, when you're experiencing it, it actually is not. I had zero fear at the time. When I "woke up" of it, I was more or less thinking "wow, that was kinda weird" and that's it.

sleep paralysis can sometimes lead to night terrors, that is some scary shit when it happens. My friend's wife wakes up and sees people standing at the end of the bed, starring at her. My gfriend gets them too, and she doesnt sleep well because of it. She wont even talk to me about what she sees, its that scary for her. She wont sleep alone.
I had it happen a few times, but one time was really bad. My house had just been burglarized, and I woke up to someone opening and climbing thru my window. It was so real, I couldnt move but I could see the curtains push inward and I seen someone climb into my room. Right at that moment I could move, pulled out the Glock17, and almost put a few shots out the window. Luckily I didnt, cause no one was in my room, the window was closed and locked, I just was in that weird zone between sleep and awake.

I've heard of night terror that is some freaky stuff right there. People who get that tend to get it almost nightly. That's got to seriously suck. I'd sleep with like 5 flood lights on LOL. It's all stuff that is harmless, but it's just so freaky.

I've gotten this a few times over the years. I think it has to be a very realistic dream for the paralysis to happen. The last couple of times I actually realized that I was sleeping and eventually willed myself to move, but previous to those I was in a dream and couldn't do this. One time it seemed like I couldn't move for hours, but I bet it was just a couple of minutes. Very weird.

I actually squeezed off a few shots into my door once because of this, the neighbors weren't amused and the cops were very suspicious that I wasn't telling the truth but I let them look around and such because at the time I had nothing to hide and the pistol was registered in my name.
The landlord was not very amused about the bullet hole through the door and the bullets lodged into the wall of the front room (uckily it was a cement loadbearing wall so I didn't shoot into my neighbors apartment.
