AoV is relocating to a new server [cancelled]

*** This has been canceled, as the lower end server was only $7 cheaper***
Due to rising costs, I am moving AoV to a lower end server that will most likely still be capable of handing the load. Rather then a quad xeon 2.8 we are moving to a dual xeon 2.4, with same ram and less disk space. I will work on squeezing the most out of that server, and all should be good.
I did not get the final price yet but I estimate we will save about $25/mo which is not much, but still adds up over time. Donations are always an asset to keeping the shard running, especially during these times as our dollar is at an all time low. The payments will be around 140/mo rather then 185/mo or so. (estimating right now).
I will make further updates to this thread once the move begins. I should be able to make it seamless like I did last time, in exception of a slightly longer server wars wait period (maybe 10 minutes).
I estimate that by Friday everything will be final.
I will also look at moving all the iceteks websites to this server to save another additional 30/mo for hosting. Considering this server runs the DNS, I'm putting all my eggs in one basket anyway so if I'm going to have a single point of failure, might as well do it right. In the future this will change as I will look into a fail over solution, once I get into web hosting business.
