I already have a pair, they are lesser AOAs and are probably going to be deleted in the revamp. 1mil offer still stands, take it or leave it.

Wow and I've been told your vendor is way overpriced. Guess I have a dissorted view on the market.

Depends on the item(s) and/or who you ask.
Some things I'd agree, other things, well, let's just say I've thrown more than my fair share of millions at his vendors.

Between my three vendors there is currently 86 million gold. Judging by the fact I've sold so much stuff, I would say my prices are reasonable (considering people keep paying and keep telling me to restock).

86mil on 3 vendors? And you
don't overcharge???
I don't have a problem with overpricing vendors, if the market is there and there is something that people need then why the hell not overcharge.
I know if my bankbalance starts to get too high it burns a hole in my pocket so I buy a whole bunch of useless arties and spin em and get sent to the land of the undead. It seems like a productive way of spending my money.

Just because I have a ton of gold doesn't mean I overcharged to get it. To "overprice" would be to make prices that are far too high for people to consider buying something. The 86kk came from people who wanted items, saw them, and thought my prices were reasonable enough to buy them. I've sold countless copies of every single demitel arty, along with tons of runic weps, jewels, armor, power scrolls and other arties. I made all that money in such a few short months, but the items I put on it where stockpiles up over the past two years ^^.

Overpriced is a difficult call.
I've certainly said, that's overpriced, but I don't care, I've got the money and I want it.
Also, a few players have way too much money and don't much care what something costs, but that doesn't mean the price is 'reasonable' for the majority of the market.
But that said, yes I concur, that people can go get stuff themselves if they don't want to pay so much, as long as stuff is selling
someone thinks it's a good enough price.
I like to move items as much as I can, if things sit too long or I see lower market prices elsewhere I will adjust my prices 9/10 times.
I'm generally dealing in easier to get stuff than you're selling too, if I get Demitel arties, Doom arties, etc odds are I need them, or a friend does, so they're not for sale. But I've only been here for two months and haven't been accumulating items for 2 years.

that pretty much wraps it up. I think everyone who has a vender has been told they are over priced. I would think that a price is based on 2 things, what its worth to you, and what time it took for you to get it.
I myself have somethings severely overpriced, and somethings severely underpriced. Its just the buyers pov.
I mean considering this is coming from someone who spent 45kk (19 on ponts vender.) building 1 character, the price depends on how bad you want it. If you want it bad enough, you'll pay any price as long as you can afford it.
For there to be a "price system" we would have to have a large enough economy on the shard to support such a system, tho we are small, the economy fluctuates so severely from day to day, what is over priced to day is hella cheap tomorrow. And a vender war is, well just that. You can either let the other guy sell out, or go and buy him out and overstock your own vender in the process, thus creating a small monopoly.

I too have seen many people call my prices "overpriced" but my bank seems to just get more and more full of bank checks, so for every person who complains theres another out there who doesn't and things just keep selling. I mean the only time I'd consider a vendor over priced was if it never made any money, but if its turning a profit then how can it be overpriced.

That's exactly the vendor pricing code. Something can be overpriced but as long as somebody out there is willing to pay it, then why keep the price low? Low prices are mostly just to compete so if nobody is going to compete VS your high prices, then you can dominate the market.
Player run vendors on the server can make quite a sum of gold this way. Everyone has their opinion on what's cheap and what's overpriced but it's all down to individual worth and what the seller feels is adequate sell price for the work involved to obtain said item.

Exactly.... I mean we were all anticipating the Hand of God vendors berfore they came out, and at the time we had a fairly stable value going for most high end shit since it was mainly 1 group of people that had them and were selling / trading them back and forth. When D brought his vendors out some of the prices were very different from that. His prices were his prices, based on what he thought they were worth to him, not really based on current market value or precedent, and due to the fact that he was able to sell and restock so effectively his prices became the new market standard. Some were what we had considered overpriced at the time, but most were incredibly cheap, and great buys. With no one selling the items and sheer volume with the ability to restock as he did, his view on value took over. Ive spent many millions there myself, and to complain that all of his prices are to high is kinda sad as you should have seen what the pirces were on the majority of those items pre-THoG vendors. Even things that are overpriced tend to get moved since he was able to supply such a vast stock of them and the fact that many of us were lazy and just didnt give a fuck. Bubbles summed it up very well with
I've certainly said, that's overpriced, but I don't care, I've got the money and I want it.

And if that were the case the majority of players here wouldnt even have vendors at all, so take your pick
