Luck blew it's paltry bosom my way this afternoon. Up until this point, I wasn't sure that I'd be able to make it, but everything fell into place.

My wife is graduating from USAF Basic on Friday. I'll be leaving tonight, and won't be back online until around Monday evening.

She's at Lackland AFB, TX, and on Sunday evening, she'll be flown out to Monterey, CA, where she'll be stationed for a year.

But yea, we just got back earlier today (me and my mate Steven, who drove with me out there to see her .. side note - he's the one that got us together in the beginning), and I just got a call a few minutes ago telling me that I could actually move out to CA tonight.

So, for anyone that has recently been in CA, or knows the area well, specifically Monterey, any pointers?

And now that the trip has worn off of us, I see your post ..

There was a time that we were swangin', but I think that's behind us. Although, she called last night and it sounded as if she'd already set something up out there at the house. :

As for being on UOV for the next little bit: I'm not sure how much UO-time I'll be scoring in the next few months (?), as the military lifestyle is starting to hit us spouses (the spuses of all the Airmen that were in her flight). Right now it's still slow, and the only thing left for me to do is get the house contract setup, drive all our crap out there, and get the house setup.

@Bubbles: There were some HOTTIES in this graduating flight that's going with her to CA, but weirdly, all the hot ones are already married/taken.
But the not-so-hot ones are still available. You know, the nerds, dogs, farmers, etc. I'm sure I could get you something.
