nerf hitpoints

Post by DOCTOR THUNDER »

If you are nerfing how much damage bleed does, how long mortal lasts, and how long a person is disarmed... to only make it fair you should nerf the amount of hit points players have.

Oh wait, then you would have to nerf the amount of hit points monsters have so it evens out for the pvm players. Less hit points on a monster makes it easier to kill, so better nerf loot while you are at it.

If you nerf loot, then you would have to nerf prices since players would have to play longer to afford the necessary items to play.

And if you nerfed prices, that would make the rich players buy up more items. so you better nerf the amount of regs, bandies, arrows, cloth, ingots, etc that are available.

With the decreased supply of resources, you would have to nerf the players. That way only the right amount of people would be online to balance out all the other nerfs in place. That would essentially be nerfing the fun for the people unable to log on.

The moral of this story is: LEAVE THE PVP STUFF LIKE OSI HAS IT. People need to find ways to beat other people, not cry nerf and take the easy way out.

More hits on characters make duels and fights last longer, thus resulting in more fun. Thats pretty much why I made the holy knights cloak.
And I'm really sure Squirrel wont unnerf stuff like OSI is either.
But look, the way to avoid mortal and specials from weapons is disarm, right? Squirrel reduced it too much.

If you give someone a program, you will frustrate them for a day; if you teach them how to program, you will frustrate them for a lifetime.

Make sure to nerf begging.
You should get copper for begging, not gold.

And nerf crafter skills.
Remember the mob race?
