Anything Forums

Hey everyone, I'd like to create and/or update some player guides, particularly for things that are unique to AoV, but also including some other things that people often inquire about.

Here's what I need:
A) Suggestions for guides you think we could use around here, such as a guide to Stealables on AoV or a guide to AoV custom tameables, etc

Offers from vet players and/or staff members to communicate with me via IM or e-mail so I can compile information for these guides.

C) *Possible* web hosting if it seems like an HTML guide would be needed/better than just a forum post and possible image hosting for detailed guides. I might be able to get by with photobucket and forum posts though.


I know that between the content DB, some other FAQs on here and forum searches you can find a decent amount of information, but there still seems to be some holes or little or out of date information on some things.
I'd like to get some up to date, error checked info guides for new players to AoV, but I'll need your help because I'm pretty new around here myself and I still find things I don't know the answers to.

If you wanted to create some guides (Or anyone else) for certain shard customs, we can review it and post it in the content database.

However, please be aware that many things will be changed after the revamp project so any guides that are created may have to be revised in the future.

No problem, then I'll do the whole project all over again!

Hmm, that sounds kind of insane when I think about it, but no seriously, I'd be happy to do it. Some of it is answering some of my own questions and the rest is helping other players avoid the frustration of not being able to find information on things they're wondering about.
Especially helpful for the completely new to UO players or the I played once 8 years ago type players I figure. And for players considering the shard who aren't even playing here yet.

Sure, if you want to create some FAQ's or other guides and are willing to update them I can certainly add them to the content DB.
