I'd answer you, but not quite sure if you're asking a question, or making a statement, or something else.
Yumi's are cool?

no hit spell, no ml, no hld, that yumi isn't going to pump out nearly the same damage as some of the high end yumis on here.
People complain about yumis, but they forget one thing: the odds of hitting BOTH shots from double strike are very small, and when you use dbl shot or dbl strike, the damage is reduced each shot. Overall, Crossbows are actually better on here. Crossbows have 3 higher base damage than Yumis, and concussion blow is much more consistent with doing high damage compared to double shot, plus crossbows have mortal as their other special compared to yumi's nearly useless armor pierce.

Double shot also requires the target to be mounted.

And you must be mounted to perform the attack, i forgot about that.

Not to mention the skill requirement (ninjitsu/bushido).

I like how ever says things like "Yumis are overpowered OMGWTFHAX! Nerf them Squirrel!" Not even realizing that there are way better options out there. As D. stated the chance to actually hit both shots with a double strike is low as hell. With the amount of mana it burns up coupled with the fact that ya get a -hit% (often causing BOTH shots to miss) it can often be a boon. Not to mention an archer with a Yumi is easily disabled with a dismount, leaving 1 gimp special to use. At that point they can do 1 of 4 things.
1- Get owned
2- Finish the fight using 1 special
3- Remount while you are smacking them around
4- Switch bows
If your that afraid of the Yumi.... play smart and remove it as an option in a fight. LRN2PLAY better an QQ less.
2-
