Curious Question...

1st off I'd like to introduce myself, I'm known as Vash as my prefered nick name. My buddy Kharn told me bout AoV so I decided to hit it up, and I'm loving it.

But to my point, I'm just curious if there's a list to see what skills are affected by anti-macro and so forth... and what skills were you have to progress with harder items etc.

Just a basic question but after 20min of searching I found nothing.

I'm fairly new myself, so I may be incorrect, but I want to say nothing?

I've GMed magery with 4th circle spells for example.
And if that works I'd imagine anything similar is possible.
It's probably *faster* to not do it quite that way, but its possible.

Anti macro is not enabled on this server. Some skills may require you to start using harder spells/moves but in general skill gain is very fast on this server. You can gain in increments of up to .5 even past 10 points.

Yea, I noticed that lol. Just another question, I asked that cuz I ran out to the store with the fiancee and the kid. I came back and one character i had casting res on my other char, my ghost was moved to a desert and im like wtf i know there's no way I did that myself.

When you die, if your body decays you are automatically teleported to the nearest shrine. This is to prevent ghost cams, but also makes it more convenient as you don't have to try to find a shrine if you die somewhere and you're stranded.

That happened to me the other day too sort of.
The only thing I can think of is it moves your ghost to a nearby shrine if your corpse decays?

Well now, that explain's alot! lol

My first thought was oh crap, did I get myself in trouble or something and it was a warning?

nah, the only afk macro not allowed is those used for resource gathering. And if you get into trouble for that, you'll either find that character in jail, or a brightly colored book in your inventory named "AFK Resource Gathering".

Things are generally pretty laid back here. We want you to enjoy yourself and make yourself a home.

I've noticed the player base has increased incredibly on this shard the last little while. You guys are doing well at bringing in new players it seems.

I think the addition of in game vote stones helped a ton as far as rankings. Also, a lot of us vet players have been helping gear up new people and showing them around the shard, which is helping the server grow too. I have to give credit to the VvV guild too. They have actually created a house/system that is pretty much charity to new players, very awesome.

Another reason is that all the constant changes/nerfs have stopped. There is actually consistency in the items and gameplay. It used to be that huge gameplay changes were being made almost daily.

This is certainly true. Not everyone likes change (Popular and unpopular changes. Everyone interprets stuff differently).

Yep it seemed each update we lost players so we decided that rather then do small updates we'll plan for the long run and have one huge update (the revamp) which will include the rest of ML, faction system, the virtues (even OSI did not finish those) and any new systems we add.

I know. I know.

But please, don't spread your feelings like that so publicly. I mean seriously, in order for our relationship to be serious you need to take it in a serious manner.
