Hi everybody! I haven't played UO in many years but felt the itch again, just not enough to pay EA for it.

I'm still trying to decide between AoV and a T2A era shard, though I've only started making a character here and not there.

Having been out of UO for so long, and barely (if at all) experiencing the ML content I really feel like I don't know wtf I am doing.

I started the typical necro mage spawner, cuz I love spawns and that was my usual main on Lake Austin. I really don't feel like I remember how to play the character though.
I've always been a very friendly and loyal (to my friends and guild anyway) UO player. I've often PKed and raided spawns though too if I was in a guild that did those things.
I'm really nice by nature so I don't do those things solo because I always feel bad for my victim when I do, heh.
By "loyal" I guess I mean I'm not selfish, happy to put the well-being of the 'group' first and value friendship and my reputation more than 'phat lewts'.

Anyway, I'd love to find some people to hang with, good or 'evil', or both, especially if they can give me pointers or even just flat out tell me what to do build/gear/etc-wise.
I'm not too proud to admit that I'm clueless right now. I'm sure I'll make a tamer at some point soon, that used to be my main 'farming' char.
I enjoy crafting too (heck, I like to do it all really, and with 3 accts I totally can!)

I tried to get into the in game [c chat thing, but I think I did it wrong?
I'm happy to talk to any potential new friends via e-mail, IM, IRC, voice chat, whatever, just let me know. Ok, I think that's it, for now anyway.

Oh, I'll add that I *like* pvp, but I've never been a great pvper, TERRIBLE dueler for example, but I love group pvp and helping out my friends/guild.
(Partly cuz I can contribute without being leet uber-pvp master)

Oh, one last thing, I technically have a lot of available play time because I broke my leg very badly last year and am still out of work because I still can't walk.

Well being an AoS era player myself, I tried a T2A server and never got the hold of it. I always liked how fast paced AoS pvp and pvm is, instead of the slow yet (supposed) fun game it was before.

I will try to get ahold of you on one of my characters (a newbie) if you post your nickname here. Or is it the same of your forum acc?

Welcome to the shard! You've picked the right one and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself as there is quite a lot to explore! This is also a stable shard and we plan to be around for good and continue to improve it.
