Do player vendors take some of your money when ya sell sumthin? Cuz I had a 750k item sell and it only added 700k to his pocket. Had 2 people confirm it was 750k so I know I didnt just make a mistake.... NPC told me he wasnt gonna skim money off me but now I think hes a liar AND a theif... Gonna have to fire him and hire somone else I guess

I am pretty sure they do take a salary. I think it is a percentage of the list price of the items you have for sale. A vendor that has millions in items will take more than one that is selling a few thousand in merchandise. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.

I don't recall for sure (and too lazy to check) but pretty sure I had added that. Rather then take a % per day that the item is on the vendor, it takes a base, low amount, then when the item sells it takes a commission. In the end you get more money out of the sale.
On a typical shard if you sell an expensive item the item pretty much has to sell that day for you to make profit otherwise you'll take a hit on the daily % that the vendor takes.
