Normally major skills are the ones you want to scroll up. Skills like magery, eval int, your weapon skill etc are all important to scroll up first (People normally increase these to 120 to increase their power VIA a 120 power scroll).

Some power scrolls give better bonuses than others. For example, a 120 taming unlocks the ability to tame harder creatures such as a reptalon or cusidhe (Cannot be done unless you have a power scroll).

Power scrolls such as 120 chivalry, aren't as important. You will get some bonuses and better chances to successfully cast spells, but they aren't as high as chivalry is mostly based on karma for effect.

Go to your skills scroll off your paper doll and click the arrow button to the right of the skill. Turn the one you want to lose skill in down and make sure that the one you want to gain in is turned up. If you have less than 700 skill points total you will not see a change in the skill you set to go down until you reach your 700 cap. Oh and please use correct spelling!
