Seems the server (uoam.net) went down so I did some digging around archives, found http://web.archive.org/web/200712071013 ... #downloads this, downloaded it but when i load it up it gets the error message when downloading the updates from UOAM.net (as UOAM.net is no longer valid).

Any suggestions or loopholes that can get me through this?

Thanks.

Yep did that too (essentially same thing), cancelled all the messages, got through but now the map loads up blank. To show you what i mean I have attached a screeny

Not sure what they mean by copying the RAR folder into the UOAM folder, I created a UOAM folder by extracting the .rar file, it has maps in that folder but for some reason its not showing up

Yea that's what UOAM looks like for me too. I've been using the UO Positioning Map from Razor as of now.

Looks like it can't find your map files. Might need to reconfigure your UOAM to point to your UO directory to get the map files. Not sure how you would do this mind you. You can check to see if there's an option where you can change the source path of the files.

WOO WEE WOO!!

Thanks to my computer genius I was able to fix it. Death is right, this is how you do it:
Map (up top) -> UO client data map files location -> then open the folder that you installed UO into.

Let me know if you're still having problems.

Hi All,

I am new to UO and just started playing a couple days ago. Just want to add to this post on a UOAM that I found. It has the New Haven's map.

The link is here:

http://www.uodemise.com/forum/showthrea ... 376&page=2

It's the second post from the top. According to the poster, after running UOAM a few times, it will ask to set performances and then it should display the new map. I just downloaded it and ran it. It still have the old Haven map so will see later if it will update.

Actually I found that old haven never goes away on uoam. It's odd. Even after updating.

I put together a installer for those of us who are lazy.

I added a few features.

setup the program for you, no moving files.
creates a desktop shortcut.
registers the program in the windows registry and provides an uninstaller
3 click setup.

download link.
