I think maybe all monsters on the shard should all have a base chance of being a supreme being across all facets.

It would be something like a paragon but even better it would be a supreme being of its race.. it can be any type of monster and it could have a supremelly low chance such as what the mini bosses in doom have to drop an arty which is very low. That way people doin champ spawns could possibly spawn a supreme being dragon or silver serpent just something interesting that we could use for everything. Nothing is immune to the supreme being even a dark father can become one. Cuz what if a boss type monster spawns a supreme race? Than it could involve teamwork to try and take it down.. and maybe you could bump the loot on them or something idk it doesnt matter but i think supreme beings should be an idea thought about.

Im sure you could borrow the paragon code and just re arrange it to fit any monster with like a .05 percent chance across all facets.. and if illishner and if paragon if it spawns both it could just null the effect of the paragon and switch to supreme.


Also i think RANDOMIZE all champs.. even dungeon champs just to make it interesting i know the champs now are set to be with whats in the dungeon but i would like to see maybe every spawn have a chance at popping every type of spawn. I mean a OAKS at despise would be cool.. than an elemental in deciet just mix it up so we cant chain coon all day at despise lol.

I guess you've never tried to kill a paragon blood beast... ? I'm not sure it would be such a good idea in DF's case. It would take tons of people and hours to kill, which would probably mean no one being able to complete a round of the gauntlet for a long time.

Thats a nice idea. But considering they'd be stronger then paragons, I simply cant imagine how someone'd kill a paragon crystal demon, much less a "supreme", or a blood beast, or whatever other boss that were made to be killing machines.
The actual blood beast spawn is a paragon, good luck.

Yeah I know. We killed a para blood beast a while back, took us over 1 hour with about 6 people... and at the end the reward was quite disappointing. I think there should be double the chance of an artie if the boss is a paragon, as well as greatly enhanced loot.

I like this idea, actually. I could even make it so theres no indication that is supreme, until you start fighting it, that is. Something to think of.

in gaunt it wont be to bad... i can solo a df on ratboy... pain in the ass but ive done it.... but waht about having a pet with over 120 mr? u dont have to worry about bo or any thing of that. it will take a lo9ng ass time to kill. but make it so there is a chance for an arty. maybe even a random arty deed.

yeah and on tamers we do df in like less than 30 seconds so it wouldnt be that hard and if a supreme crystal deamon were to spawn and no one could kill it than im sure the admin wouldnt have a problem changing it over plus it would only have a .05 chance to spawn so it would be once in a blue moon the crystal only spawns so many times a day lol its not like a coon spawn where ppl chain em or something all day long in 5 minute spawns

yeah if I did supreme think all I'dd do is make the hit points go much higher. Maybe even a fixed value like 5 mil, and all it's skills would be 120. (imagine DF doing lethal lol)

No pet can tank a crystal demon. Not to be an ass, but I wouldnt change the monster's form just because people cant kill it, after all, it was a suggestion coming from one.
I think the first blood beast paragon's drop on the server was wicked... I'm guessing it was vamp fang x2, circle of blood x2 and a heart of the lion lol

Thats before they were fixed though, they used to drop random artifacts as loot. LOL

Nah, that was the first fixed one, it spawned paragon and you, me, bartok, altar, rdx and lymus killed it.

Yeah but the odds of it spawning supreme are low and if its that big of a deal null the crystal deamon as being able to spawn supreme.

and gms do a lot on these servers if u can wall a player in with an elemental lord at brit gate and set him to frozen and watch him die because he killed ur gm.. im sure you can remove a monster and respawn it if its impossible to kill.

Think I'd just go with extra hp and maybe double damage or something. I want to try and make it different than paragons, so maybe I'd just set all their skills to a certain value and perhaps even the AI. So a supreme hiryu would have 200 of each skills and magery, for example. Perhaps I could even make it a random AI between melee, necro, mage, or necromage. I'd look into which skills affect pvm and they'd all get set to a certain static value. Just think, a rune beetle with 10000 hp and 200 of each skill casting necro and magic. :

To make things more interesting, their hue or name would not be changed. So it would be hard to know you've found a supreme being until you start fighting it.

Yeah i like the idea of not identifying the fact that its supreme till you fight it. Maybe you could also bump the passive speed to make them stronger.. faster... better !! lmao.

maybe you could just double the chance to tame so if its a supreme slime it can be tamed but i bet it would suck lol. well maybe not who knows if its a necromage with 200 skills i could be wrong haha nice

Yep, and you would not be able to tame regular tamable creatures like rune beetles... I like the idea of a super slime though.

Don't. It took so long and so much concentration that I would not do it again. If the thing got too close, it would usually leave me with like 2 HP. And I got an awesome corroded hatchet for my troubles
