Preparing for shard revamp

I have been slowly starting to setup things such as a secured VPN / VMs so we can prepare for the development tasks involved with the shard revamp.

We have fallen much behind with ML and decided instead of reinventing the wheel we may use a "ML package" that is premade. However we will be highly modifying and reviewing this code to ensure it is up to par with our standards as far as security and server efficiency goes.

Also some of the revamps include some major system redesigns so the packages will be more or less used as skeleton.

This should hopefully speed up the full release of ML content.

At some point in time we may even hire a staff member to do some basic coding to speed things up.

(anyone who PMs me to ask to be staff is automatically put at the bottom of the list)

Waiting on a part for the server, once it's done I will start configuring the VMs and the developer VPN logon. This will enable beta testers (which we will choose at random, later) to logon securely and see the shard as it progresses as well as report any issues. I have not fully decided how the beta testing will go yet, but that wont be until at least a few months.

DO NOT ASK TO BE A BETA TESTER. WE WILL CHOOSE PEOPLE WHEN WE NEED THEM.

The new network is pretty much all setup, just need to setup the Linux/Mono shard.

Once I get the shard running under Linux there will be a period of beta testing to ensure it is stable, at which point the Linux version will probably go live before we continue. It will make the rest of the changes easier to transition to.

Removing the need for a windows VM will also speed up the disaster recovery process should something go wrong with the live server.

The mono portion has a separate ticket which can be found here:
