You have been able to craft tribal masks for some time now (thanks for putting that in guys). Yet, you still can't use runic kits to craft them with mods. It takes leather to make them, just like the other runic tailor armor, and you can use charges with runics to craft them, so I believe they should get mods like the other gear. Makes sense to me =].

same with deer/bear masks.

Can't enhance them either.
As an aside, when this gets fixed (if) could orc masks and bone helms be enhanceable as well?

This has to do with the type of item those are, they don't fall in the runic category.

Though I don't know why the bear/deer masks don't work as they do fall as loot sometimes with properties.

All this will get revamped when we redo some major systems anyway. I'm still debating on making a server from scratch. Have to decide what will be more work, to revamp RunUO how we want it, or to go from scratch.

Each has its own pros and cons. IMO revamping the current system would be fine, although if we went C++ we could pretty much nuke the .net framework dependency and create something multi-platform. Mind you, it would require more coding competence in that case as we would have to be very careful in the creation and disposing of data.

Yeah well the rule of thumb is where you use new, you need a delete.

We could also use the xVector class I made for storing of data.

Mysql++ (C++ extension for mysql) is awesome too, been using it for my control panel software and its great so far.
