Obtain as much as you can within an hour, then obtain as much gold as you can within the second hour and devise a price VS how much leather you got VS how much money you collected (Through normal hunting, not champion spawns). That should give you a fair estimate as to how much to sell it for.

Of course, you can sell for pretty much any price as long as somebody buys it. Those who are lazy and want to get things done quick will pay an absurd amount for it.

Leather won't sell for as much as metals or wood as it's easier to obtain.

Spined 75g
Horned 85g
Barbed 100g

Those seem to be the most common prices.

Brunus would know better than me, but i can probly do 2 coons an hour, which is quite a bit of Gold in 1 hour =]
