is there a wait period on placing vendors? I tried placing a vendor in my newly aquired luna plot and for some reason (may be something im doing or not) the vendor is still in contract form.

Depends on the contract you are using. Are you using a vendor rental contract or a contract of employment? To create a vendor for yourself (To start selling stuff right away), you want the contracts of employment.Dirk wrote:I guess this is a dumb question since no one is replying. lol
If you have the right one (A regular colored deed), when you double click the deed, a vendor will pop out for you to use right away.
If you are using the red/pink deeds, those are the vendors you rent out to other people who want to sell stuff from YOUR vendor house. You can target a player you want to offer the spot to (once you click the deed), OR you can target the deed itself so that anyone who wanders by your house and wants a vendor can just purchase the spot at a later time (Usually the way it goes as you want to rent out spots and don't want to have to sit and wait for somebody to accept. This method allows you to rent it out to anyone who wants it).
Now, you will want to make sure that your house access is changed to PUBLIC. When you make your house, it is first set to PRIVATE (That's why nobody else can get into your house unless you give them permission). Of course, if you have a vendor, you will need to give players access to your house. You cannot place vendors in a PRIVATE house, it MUST be set to PUBLIC (You can set the access level from your house sign).
If you're concerned about access levels from your house, you can always set your doors, teleports and chests to an access level only owners/co-owners and friends have access to so you can section off your house to what's considered public access and what areas are considered private access.

There's no such thing as a stupid question IMO. That mistake is very easy to do, I've done it myself numerous times (Normally during the purchasing stage when I realize I wanted the other deed XD).Dirk wrote:Death I feel like a dumass I was using the wrong deed.
