Update [Mar 24 07] - fixed AoAs, enhancements, and stuff

* Fixed an issue with leafblade and assassin spikes. One of those could not be repaired (forget now) because it was misstyped in the craft system. Both now can be crafted and repaired.

* Added aquariums, Golden fishing rods can be purchased from fisher NPCs to build the aquariums . Note that these aquariums are simply decor and are not like the OSI ones. The OSI ones may come eventually though these won't be easy to code and I did not find a script for it on RunUO forums. (yeah yeah, Ban evasion, who cares eh :P)

* granite and sand are now stackable, but since the pile seperation menu is client side (goes by itemid) I had to make it work a bit differently. If you have a big pile and want to take some out, simply double click and it will put as much as it can in your bag.

* Artifacts of assimilation chance degrades when you recently got one or if you are standing within same area as last one. See the AoA thread in L2P for more information. Also, you cannot receive multiple AoAs in a row within the same 10x10 area. So a rule of thumb is if you're camping and get one, switch spots.

*You must wear pads of the cusidhe or be elf to ride cusidhes

*spawn from colonel sanders is now limited to 5, and the vorpals only have 1k hp instead of their regular hit points. Also the spawn has 0 fame meaning you cannot get artifacts from it. This also applies to barracoon.

*Grim reapers strike now requires 10 daemon bones to be in your pack and has a 10 minute delay between each use.

*Animate dead now has a 50% chance of failure to rez people, and will not work on faction chars (like all other forms of rezing)

*Summon familiar no longer works while dead. There was a bug that allowed this

*Modified a some AoAs a bit

Could you make it so that it checks lrc? I'm assuming the daemon bones are like reagents in this case.

This is sort of like the same idea as a firehorn so it will need 10 bones no matter what.

like for the sand and granite? the way standard stacking works seems to be somewhat influenced by the client, so if you drag over it won't stack. But what you can do is put it in a chest then drag another pile to the chest. If you want to grab some from the pile then double click the pile and it will fill your backpack.

Oh yeah, its just the way the house system works, would require some major recoding. By default any locked down item is innaccessable. There are exeptions like containers, lights, etc.

Best bet is to smelt ore as you get it and store ingots in a chest.

Deamon bones might become a problem as they are harder to get than most things and they are really, quite heavy. Test it out and if it doesn't work out, you might consider substituting demon blood instead.

Yeah it was sort of the idea though, makes it a bit harder since at a spawn you'll be carrying lot of regs already, so might only be able to carry 50 demon bones max. Or take the chance and bring a giant beetle. :P

I think the best thing that would help the server from running out of resources would be to remove all the crystal demon spawn/crystals after it is killed. Or even better, make the spawn slowly lose hitpoints (and of course remove their healing) kinda like undead so they will eventually die. The amount of spawn in that area is usually in the ridiculous numbers. And you just took away my only way of clearing it

Good point right there. Think of how many things we've spawned in that area alone.

I want to make a quest for that actually where you have to kill 100 crystal elementals and get powder of crystalization which could be used for something (not sure what yet lol). But yeah think I'll make it so when the crystal daemon dies, they all vanish. Kind of like when a champion dies all the spawn vanishes as the altar goes black. Though clearing that spawn was rather fun with my necro. :P

Oh and I was a noob. Devistation does not have SC. I fixed that now. :P Will update next SW.

Was going to build an aquarium, I bought the Gold rod, have the ingots and water - but no sand. Here's the dumb question...How do I get sand?

There are no sand mining books for sale there.

I have already purchased Making Valuables with Stonecrafting and
Mining for Quality Stone over a month ago.

Is there a special tool needed to mine sand? I tried a shovel with the charater I had read the books, but to no avail.

Try the alchemist for sand mining.

Hmm if it's not there I may have to spawn it manually. I'll have to check. A regular mining tool (pickaxe, shovel) works I believe.
