I'm a fan of stacked house decoration. It's pretty neat how many items can be stacked to create new decoration. I have done many in my time (Rock fireplaces, lanterns, cauldrons, weapon holders, pianos, aquariums, etc). There used to be a website called "Castles and Courtyards" but it has since left (Archives you can find but don't think it's being updated).

Here's a thread for players to post their customization expertise. You can include images of your finished creations and directions on how to make them. I'll be posting some in the near future.

Easy Plant in a Vase

You will need:

* 2 sprigs of nightshade (Magery Reagent)
* A glass pitcher (Can be filled with milk, wine, water at own personal taste)

Optional:

* Interior Decorator tool for adjusting

Directions:

1) Place the glass pitcher on the ground or on a table (Place it wherever appropriate)

2) Once the glass pitcher is placed, drag 2 sprigs of nightshade near the bottom of the pitcher. If done properly, the nightshade will drop to the ground and stack on top of the pitcher. It may take a few tries to get it to stack on top

3) That's it, you're done! Use the interior decorator tool if needed.

Finished product:

A fireplace I made for my house

You start with 4 blank tiles facing east
XXXX
Stack 2 ore (I used dull copper) on the first tile and fourth tile
OXXO
then stack 2 black cloth or 2 coal on all tiles. If you're using cloth stack the cloth twice, but for coal you'll only need to stack it once. The 2 middle tiles you will need to raise it using an interior decorating tool (buy these from the artitect in Luna). Make sure the coal/cloth is even
OOOO
Put little decorations on top of the coal/cloth, again, you will need to use the interior deco tool on the two middle tiles to raise it. I used stealable urns and a sword display but you can put books or candles and it works well.

Then place large forge (facing east) on the fourth tile, making sure you target the tile, not the ore
XXXO

Violla.

The reason castles and courtyards went offline was due to the owner Siobhan of Legends went was unable to pay the domain name fee when it was time to re do.

I will check with her if that is here backup site or if someone has an unauthorized copy of it.

And just as a note once I get my house setup she will be the one doing the decorating.

lol That is cute.
I love using nightshade for deco. Looks good if you place it in some vines growing up your house

I can't wait till valor brings out the new plants. I already have some great ideas for custom deco using those trees and hedges.
The twisted tree looks really cool.
