Economic Crisis, and AoV

As you probably already have heard, the economy is in a crisis with all the stuff that's been happening in the states. We are also affected as the price of precious metals have dropped and that is one of the major trade sectors. Our dollar may also drop which will mean more expensive server bills.
That said, I strongly encourage those who play to consider donating at least something per month as if the US dollar doubles over the Canadian one like it was back in the day, the server costs will simply be too high to keep the shard running. The last bill was $160 as opposed to $150 so already it seems to be slowly going up.
So far it's not too bad, and I've been working on my hosting control panel framework so once I get going with that and get some hosting clients things will be more stable. I will charge in USD for hosting so it matches up properly to meet server cost. The hosting income will probably only start rolling in after Christmas though, as there is still lot of planning stages before I actually go live with that project.
