Para sucks much on this shard. My new char Bushido mage is pretty useless with this low para time (I think it is lower). Im just wondering if there has been any consideration into making para last longer.

What I did was simply cap it at like 5 secs. Since 10-15 secs is just ridiculous. Keep in mind most people/mobs have resist spells so it will hardly even last that long.

Im using a bokotu im interested how long does nerve strike para the person. And if it is interrupted by damage.

5 secs min, alters on the influence on Bushido and Swordsmanship. Can hit 10 seconds. As with paralyzing blow, nerve strike is ended by damage.

Mage paralysis was overpowered no matter how you looked at it. A long distance paralysis shot with 100% chance of success, spamming ability and over 7 seconds of paralysis time does not make for a fair battle. Those with resist spells are also at a disadvantage because of the evil omen spell working with paralyze which completely defeats the purpose of getting resist spells. That's why it was nerfed.

EO+Para+Explode+EO+Para+Explode, rinse and repeat.

Try EO + Para on this shard. If that's your tactic you'll be disappointed.
Target will resist any form or paralysis for the duration of the evil omen.

If it's RW, then everything is just out of sync, and theres like 300 on you.
Actually, I got the rydia part totally wrong it's more:
rydia: casts wall of stone
you see: ankou the dark father
rydia: casts energy field
rydia: casts teleport
you become to feel nausious
you feel yourself resisting the poison
*1 minute later*
you see: rydia
you see: Kra'an the dark father
rydia: casts efield and wall of stone and teleports away
you are dead
This happens in the gaunt hallway.
Yeah, they suck that bad at killing others in gaunt, it took TWO DFs to kill me in a trapped wall. Man, good times.

I feel the same way about paralyze blow. I use it heavily to my advantage as a wrestle mage, and wish it would go back to normal. Same with disarm time.

I use it often for my advantage as well, but I have to say the old parablow's duration was just redicolous. A single parablow could result into someone's instant death with the older timer.

Para blow did not get changed. Only the mage para did, it got capped to about the same time para blow and such last. Lot of para spells got fixed as per osi though, such as riding swipe and nerve strike not chaining. Also the chaining counts for ANY para, so you can't cast mage para then para blow, for example.
Disarm did get slightly lowered since it makes fighting any dexxer like fighting a 10 minute old char that just came out of haven. The default was like 5 secs or something which gives any mage more then enough time to totally rape a dexxer, and re disarm again after, and continue.
