The evolution of dungeons ..

During the dreaded area between conscience and dreams, I had an epiphany:

With the theme of each dungeon, they all seem to be missing .. something.
I think it'd be awesome to see certain aspects within the anti-virtue dungeons of Britannia, specifically the Trammel versions since Felucca has Champ Spawns. These ideas would be great for the newbie just joining, or for a change-of-pace.

Despise - The top-level consists of ratmen and lizardmen. I think it'd be neat if that level had only ratmen, leading toward the back where The Rat King resides. He should possess the strength of about 5-7 ratmen combined, and have the chance to drop a set of leather armor. Not all at once, just a piece here and there. This set would focus on the agility of the rodents, and be ideal of dexers. With the way real-life rodents work in real-life, I'd wager the items having +dex, strong poison resistance, and some health regen.

The next level holds Earth Elementals and Ettins, followed by the third level holding Trolls, Ettins, and Ogres. I think it'd be great if the second level had Ettins, Trolls, and Ogres spread about, but a bit lesser than they are currently. The third level would be great if the same theme held, but make them about 3x stronger than what the typical versions are now .. leading up to The Three Kings residing on the little island. Imagine an Ogre Lord, how strong he is in comparison to an ogre. Now translate that same idea into an Ettin and a Troll. Make the three kings about as strong as 3 Lords, so that in essence you're fighting 9 Ogre Lords at once. With these guys being grunts, I'd make their sets have +str, strong physical resistance, and some stamina regen.

Covetous - With the theme of this dungeon, it seems to me to be a magical place. The first level is good, but the focus should be on the Gazer Family, eventually leading up to a Beholder. With the lore of the Beholders, they'd make a great guard for the following levels. For the Beholder, the emphasis of its set should be magical, leading to +int, +mana, and mana regen.

As it stands, Covetous is a mesh of magical creatures: Dread Spiders, Lich, Gazer, Water Elementals, etc. The second level should house Mages. For the Mage King, I'd look no further than the Ultima lore and use Nystul as him. With the progression going from Guard to Mage, the next step would be the Lich. Level 3 should house this family, with The Lich King being a ploy from WOW- Arthas. ^^ I'd wager he should be about as strong as 5 Ancient Lich combined, and would require a group to take down. The emphasis of Nystul's and Arthas' sets should still be magical, but the resists should be in the 50-65 range, with low physical resist.

Shame - Ahh, the beloved home of the Elementals. The setup of this dungeon is done nicely, but the Gazers and Mages should vacate. In their place, the Titans and Cyclops should migrate there as the bodyguards of the elementals. [http://edweb.sdsu.edu/people/bdodge/sca ... titan.html] This list shows several Greek Titans, and Cronus or Zeus would be a great King of Shame. To illustrate the power of Zeus' lightning bolts, he'd hold a lightning-enchanted bow/xbow. There could even be other titans from that list that would each hold a piece of low-str req. plate armor that was suited to an archer.

Destard - DRAGONS! For this area, the D&D dragons [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_(Du ... &_Dragons)] are a prime example of what the Wyrm king could hold. A reformatting of the levels would have to take place as well, with the entrance area housing drakes and serpents, then the upper/side areas would house the dragons. If the greater dragons were implemented, they would be great candidates for lv 2.

That's all I have at the moment, but if these ideas are good [and feasible], let me know and I could actually go in-depth to give y'all ideas on other such dungeons.

They're spawned the way they should be (Most of the dungeons). Lizardmen have always been in despise, along with ettins and earth elementals. Removing them from despise and adding in other things would remove the dungeon familiarity.

Your ideas are better suited for area quests, much like I did with the winter reapers (Special monster currently only located in the winter spur).
