A long time ago there was a funny virus. It was not malicious and didn't delete files or anything, just every now and then it would pop up a message that said, "Insert cheeseburger into Drive A: and press a key". I bet some people tried to do it.

Ever see the picture of the person who tried to "insert disk into drive A:/?"
CD cut in two and inserted inside.
My fav is still the old woman who tried to do online banking by placing her visa in the floppy drive. She might have been on to something....

Haha thats great.
Would be so fun to write a virus, too bad its illegal.
I want to write a virus that pesters people about computer security. It would first check if they have an AV/firewall.
It would also unintall HP crap and other crap that should not be on their computer.
In fact you could unlesh the virus on a school network and do a cleanup in no time. Once the virus is done its thing it would self destruct.

Actually, IRL I had a customer bring in their computer and his kid had shoved goldfish crackers inside the cd rom drive. It was one of those HP computers with the drive flaps that cover the actual drive. I lifted it open and a bunch of orange dust flew out of it.
