Champ Spawn Bosses.

Yeah this is just a small suggestion i emailed it to the admin Squirrel but i wanted to know i guess what the general public indeed thought of it.

Each champ drops a skull everyone knows and thats the ultimate prize for defeating the champion other than the scrolls.

Yet every champ drops scrolls so it doesnt make defeating a baracoon all that special aside from defeating any of the others.

Well on legacy 25 it was an all felluca shard before it went down a very popular AOS kind of integrated shard where there were no other facets.

So they decided on the brilliant idea of no T2A and just have spawns in the dungeons so all major doom arties would spawn on the champs with like a 1/10 chance or something by random on the champ corpse making pvp very fun because everyone was in despise trying to get the scrolls/champ for the arty.

So why not give each champ a special item like barracoon i made a jester hat having +10 music, peace, disco than it had a bunch of resists around 10+ or whatever some above 15 and i think like 2 hp regen or something around that area in stats.

So you could just make it like that and of coarse each champ would have its own special identity so it would each get its own thing, Neira a sword, Lord oaks maybe wings.. as a cloak. Semidar i gave a short spear with 100% life leech, Rikktor i gave a halberd called rikktors rage cuz i see him as a powerful being and halberd imo is the most devistating wep but so underrated due to speed. And meph i gave a dagger with a lot of poison mods.

Than i also gave each champ a sash with 1 property that i thought would do best for that champ. So the sash's could be more frequent drop rate or something like Neira 2hp regen, Meph +25 Posion resist, Oaks FCR +2..

Stuff like that and i mean i know the shard has bigger and better projects in line but this could be something interesting to think about.. because how often are people just doing despise all night.. no one wants to do an undead spawn.. but if you give neira a .05 chance at dropping her sword with some half decent mods and players are gonna want that baby so than they start doing diff spawns... Everyone hates OAKS so they dont want to sit there chaining it no one does that now a days lol.. but if oaks had a nice prize than yeah players will get diverse with it.

I just noticed the other day that the elemental champ spawn the boss has Quite a few arties to drop so the idea i suppose was already there as far as that went but you know always improvising.

hmmm that sounds like a nice idea. I'm not a fan of overloading the shard with a lot of new arties, but I do like this idea.

Yeah something I can look into. I can make it work like the demitel system, and about the same odds.

don't take out T2A champs though. Reco doesn't know how to get to T2A, so he doesn't bother the champs I do there.

Lol belive me he knows how to get there its just easier to get to despise and camp it than run the whole t2a.. you do khaldun.

Nah T2A champs stay ;)


I'm going through the arties, some I wont add since we have similar ones while I'm modifying others, but so far it's looking good. I want to make AoAs easier to get, but have some kind of system so the shard is not flooded with them. Something like the tot trade system seems like the best thing, but I'm trying to think of something more original. But I could simply make it different too. Instead of picking the greater, it's randomized, or something.

this might be a dumb idea, but what about trading in 20-25 lesser AoAs for a random arty deed? or maybe a deed that has 50% chance of greater AoA/50% random arty(tots, martys, lesser AoAs included).

Yeah that could be interesting. Come to think of it, I should recode the random arty deeds to be like those, and not make them include the doom ones and such, since they defeat the purpose of the other arties. Those were more or less to get the shard going anyway.

I could also just make the npc give a random greater AoA OR lesser, so you could get screwed, it would be a risk.

Just have to think of a name/theme for the NPC.
