i haven't decided yet. this server has more people which is VERY valuable to me but my old server is back and all my items have been compensated for... not to mention i got a WICKED cool house spot. but if i do leave ill give my house to someone before i do.

People leave all the time, but end up coming back since not a lot of shards have the quality content we do.

yeah, well my old server is pretty high quality, we just have player issues (like AOV) but its not just some noob server. dont get me wrong, i rly like this server but im torn

I say play the server you like the best. Many players play more than one server.

Good to know, and if lack of players is an issue I got a pretty strong marketing idea that I kind of threw together real quick, but we need to pretty much finish all of ML before it hits hard enough.
I forsee a huge chunk of demise over here if that plan goes well.
This is also why we are working hard to fix the stuff that is gimp, such as being able to easily farm items with no effort as the audiance I am targetting is more for having to work for items, and small shards have a bad reputation of making stuff too easy to get, so I don't want us to have that reputation.
This is something that would be done in like last quarter of 2008 or even later. The stuff left to do is still rather large, specially the core systems redesign.

Oh God if you're going the route I think you're going with the DB system you're going to die of aging before you finish that thing!

Haha yeah the mysql system will defiantly be a challenge. The thing that makes this project of mine hard is so many elements all depend on each other and they all have to work before one of them works.
Wow. It's like, trying to make a paradox or something.
I'm waiting for the flux capacitors to go down in price then I can start on this project.
