Mare going grey

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, and I'm also not sure exactly how it happened. I was hunting with my mare in despise and she went grey. That lasted for a few mins and she went blue again. Then later when hunting again she went grey and is still grey about an hour later. What is causing this?

What were you killing at the time? Or did something attack you/the mare? It does sound odd. Only time a pet should go gray is if you make it attack a blue. Could be a color display issue I'd have to look at.

Both times we were killing lizardmen. She's still grey btw. I had her set to guard me. And yes we were both being attacked. A friend just mentioned that this has also happened with his hiryu.
Alright, I tried logging out and back in. Mare was still grey. But I just stabled her and got her out and she's back to being blue now. Hope that helps a bit.

I used to have a problem with the "all guard me" command. Change your macro to just "all guard" and see if that makes a difference.

on Demise, when using all guard ME, my hiryu would spontaneously attack me.
change it to all guard.

yeah, thats the same problem I was referring to. Took me awhile to figure out why my pets would attack me just out of the blue.

incidentally, i was gambling some ps earlier. my beetle was set to 'all guard'. I died and he immediately ran away toward luna. i ressed, called 'all guard' and hopped on. Died. He did it again.
It's like its forgetting to follow when I'm dead.
