Should we make it so factions can fight even outside of fel? I personally think it would make things interesting. Only factioned players could attack factioned players, and non faction players would not be able to benifit faction players.

So vote YES to make the pvp aspect work in ALL FACETS
Or NO to keep it as is.

Its a great idea, the only down side is non faction players doing things such as fielding etc to give one side an unfair advantage.

That's true. But then again, what's really stopping anyone from doing that now? People did it in gaunt all the time. Could possibly add some kind of check to that or protection against it but even then it's iffy. Can't exactly say that somebody else's fields would give immunity.

Wonder if it would be a bad idea to have blocking fields walkable for players (As in, you could walk through them in trammel). Think that's client side though so it might not be possible. Even then we would need to think of the ways it could be exploited.

I had thought of making energy field actually use notoriety system so good people can go through bad ones cant, but its item ID client side. With para fields its doable but not walls etc.. Would be neat if it was strictly server side though. Before anyone gets any crafty ideas the walls and such are ALSO server side, so client modding can't get around that. I've tested it, a lot. I tried to use client mods to get into inquis room on demise. No go, all server side. What you see on client is not what you see on server heh.

Plans are currently being discussed on its implementation but there's currently no ETA. It seems that most players are in favor of it but we'll run the poll just in case there's quite a bit of opposition or concerns.

Also there is a safety issue with this as most people will join factions figuring they are safe in trammel, so then when they get pked they'll get all pist off and want to quit the shard.

So I'll want to make it CLEAR that what they are doing will let them be pked anywhere.

And stuff like that.

But I am considerating it.

Hopefuly if Bush is involved, they dont start drilling in the seas outside of Magincia. They might try to hide it inside the factions bill in order to get it passed.
