Why is it so hard to find a water container?

Okay so like, over the last 6 months or so, I've been trying to find some kind of container for drinking water. I don't want to keep buying bottled water each day cause it costs more than gas and filtered tap water's better to drink anyways.

But damn, they're making it real hard to bring filtered tap water to work because every kind of water container I take does not cut it. I've bought like 3 plastic water bottles. The first one was not too bad but way too small.

So I get another one and find out that it's a code 7 type which is bad cause plastics leech into your water and taint it. I drank from it once and could taste the residue which tasted kind of like biting your lip and sucking the blood out. Nasty.

So I go out and buy a metal thermos, thinking it would be an improvement. WRONG. The thermos is actually the worst! Now I got water that tastes like steel which sucks. Why does every container taint the liquid you put into it? I've tried washing these containers and adding baking soda in it to take the residue/taste out but nothing works.

Ya, I might have to find a glass container. I never thought about using glass, never seen em around.

I find the bottles that bottled water comes in are usually ok. So buy 1 bottled water every 2 weeks or what not and then just refill it.

I've recently switched from pepsi to water for every day drinks, and save pepsi for mostly weekends. Due to the amount of pop required to work on RunUO code, my teeth are detoriating very quick. So now its better.

I do have to redye my hair red after a session of dealing with the craft system though. That is one of the most brutally written parts right there. The way aosprops work is not far behind either.

I just got done with $6500 in dental. Joy. All because of my love for Pepsi.

I don't drink anything carbonated anymore, ever. I realized that most of the time people order a coke or pepsi is because it's simply just a habit, and they don't think about anything else that they would want to drink. Also, some places nothing other than carbonated drinks.

Ya I noticed that. Like when I get something at harveys here and it's all pop. I would rather have a bottled water (Yes, I see the irony in ordering a poutine and a bacon cheeseburger and wanting a bottled water, I'm like that).

Has anyone else noticed that healthy food costs more than junk food? No wonder people don't eat it so much. A water and a sub goes to like 10$ Whereas a greasy burger with pouting and a coke is like 8$.

I don't drink much pop anymore (When I was young it was like 2 or 3 a weekend). Either I lost my taste for it or I'm just too lazy to bring home a case of it. A&W root beer doesn't count though as that's the alpha-omega of all soft drinks.

I've actually considered stopping pepsi completly and just going with root beer, as it is actually way less bad for the teeth. ph of like 5 instead of 2 like pepsi. Lower the worse. battery acid is 1. So yeah.

Juice is actually worse then pop for the teeth too, though not as bad for the rest of the body (like orange juice, its good for you, but it will ruin your teeth!)

Ever do the penny trick? Put a copper penny in a cup of fresh coke (Doesn't need to be a lot, just enough to submerge the coin). In a few hours, it would have stripped the varnish off the coin, leaving the pink copper exposed. Leave it there overnight and the coin will be completely dissolved.

I work in the dental industry and I can vouch for the very bad effects of soda on your teeth. Its not just the acidity of the drink, it is also the amount of sugar it contains. Soda contains high levels of acid AND high levels of sugar.

My favorite container to refill is Arizona Tea gallon jugs (Green Tea for me). They seem to have a good bit more heft to them over a normal milk jug, not to mention a better handle, for more optimal drinking mechanics.
