Just wondering if its some type of usable currency or just a pile of pink money to lock down. Also, where does it come from...

Its just gold in terms of how you spend it. It's from Cupids and such from the Valentine's Day Event.

It's just dyed gold with a different name. It's something that's obtained during Valentine's day events.
